What are Managed Services?
Isn’t this just a fancy term for
outsourcing?
Do you perform support on an as needed
basis?
What does your Flat Fee Service Include?
So no matter what happens in my environment,
I’ll never pay more than one Flat Fee per month?
What other services and solutions
do you provide?
How can I get more information and
get started with your Services?
As a definition, Managed
Services can mean different things depending on the industry.
With information services and information technology, Managed
Services consists of a service provider managing the IT structure
of another organization. This can involve the hardware, the
software or both.
Managed Services isn’t
about outsourcing. It ultimately results in deciding where hardware
and systems should be located. But initially, Managed Services
is a process. Your current IT capabilities are analyzed and
your future needs are projected. The final recommendations are
what McKinney IT Solutions considers to be best for your business.
This may involve an outsourcing model, where McKinney IT Solutions
assumes control of your hardware and systems and McKinney IT
Solutions engineers maintain everything. In that model staff
would be eliminated. However, a hybrid model may work best for
your business, where your current IT staff maintains part of
your system on-site and McKinney IT Solutions handles the other
part.
Studies show that proactive
maintenance improves equipment longevity, uptime and efficiency,
and provides cost savings over time. Since all of our Flat Fee
service plans are based on this premise, we do not offer reactive
services.

Vendor Management Services. We will manage all of your infrastructure
vendors, allowing you and your staff to run your business, not
your vendors. Anytime there is a problem with a device or line
of business application serviced by a vendor, we manage for
you, it’s one call to us, and we take it from there, and work
the problem to resolution with the vendor. We will even schedule
any onsite visits required by the vendor, and oversee the successful
remediation of the issue at hand.
